Why Did You Decide To Become A Dentist?
Unlike most kids, Dr. S was never afraid of the dentist’s office as a child! She adored her family’s dentist and always looked forward to her routine visits. These positive feelings never left her as she grew older and older, and it wasn’t before too long that she realized that she wanted to make dentistry her lifelong job too. The rest is history.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. S pursued her dental doctorate at New York University, followed by a completed residency at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Through regular continuing education, she plans to expand her clinical skills even further over time. She has worked in several other offices before deciding to make Smile More Dentistry and Washington Dental Associates her dental home. She was chosen by Dr. Lacap from over 40 applicants. She has been personally trained by Dr. Tong in all the clinical areas.
Our patients love her soft touch and attention to detail. Some of our patients even say she makes coming to the dentist a relaxing experience.
Outside Of Dental Office What Do You Like To Do?
Dr. S was born in Iran and moved to California as a teenager. She’s been living in New York since 2015. She’s blessed to have loving parents, a sister, and a very supportive boyfriend who also works in the dental field. As for hobbies, she loves cooking and baking a wide variety of dishes and is VERY popular amongst her family and friends because of her apple pies. When it comes to the origin of a recipe, there are no limits for her!
