Washington Dental Associates provided a day of free preventive dentistry, fillings, cleanings and <strong>emergency dental care <\/strong>for children ages 16 and under.\u00a0 The children did not have access elsewhere due to financial reasons.\u00a0 \u201cSometimes people need a helping hand&#8212;-this is just our way of showing we care\u201d, said Dr. LaCap.\u00a0 By the end of the day, over $25,000 of <strong>dentistry<\/strong> was provided.\u00a0 This was their sixth year in providing this most needed service.\n\nThis special day of giving was held on February 18 (Friday) in their dental office, 19 Legion Drive in Bergenfield.\u00a0 A big thanks goes to\u00a0 Dr. Kim, Joanne Pascual, Lindsay Calderon, Lisa LaFazia, Jodi Wagmeister, Lourdes Sy, and Letty Morales for volunteering their time.\u00a0 All are team members of Washington Dental Associates.\u00a0 Also, a big shout out to the <strong>Bergenfield<\/strong> fire department for keeping the children busy with their firetruck tour.\n\nThe children who came to the office were treated to home baked cookies, oral hygiene instruction, a cleaning, <strong>fluoride treatment<\/strong> and free dentistry.\n\n\u201cThis is wonderful that the doctors and their team do this for my children,\u201d related a grateful Mom.\u00a0 \u201cMy children really feel special here.\u00a0 They are treated with dignity and
