Not only should tooth decay be treated in regular dental appointments,\u00a0<strong>it should be prevented!<\/strong>\u00a0Tooth decay is 100 percent preventable with effective personal care and regular dental cleanings.\n\n<strong>In honor of Children\u2019s Dental Health Month<\/strong>, we\u2019re spreading the word about children\u2019s dental health.\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KDiBhwID3C8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n<h3><strong>YOU Can Help Little Ones Have Healthier Smiles!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n \t<li><strong>Encourage them to brush for two full minutes:<\/strong>\u00a0Pick a song about two minutes long and sing it to them during brushing time.<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Set reminders to brush twice a day:<\/strong>\u00a0Brushing after breakfast and just before bed are the best times for preventing bacteria growth from food.<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Show them flossing is fun, not harmful:<\/strong>\u00a0Be gentle at first when doing it for them. A bad experience can stop them from flossing on their own.<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Be persistent:<\/strong>\u00a0Don\u2019t let fussy children off the hook. Be motivating!
